What personal data we collect from you
If you sign up to our newsletter on our web site or in our store, we collect your email address. Your email address is seen as “personal data” under the data protection regulations which apply to us as a business.
We limit personal data collection to your email address only as this is all we need to provide you with our newsletter.
How we collect your personal data
We receive personal data directly from you when you submit your email address to us via the “Sign up” function on our website or when you supply it to us directly in store on our form.
How we use your personal data
We use your email address to email you with our newsletter regarding our new collections and future events.
How we are allowed to do this
If you have submitted your email address through our “Sign up” function, we will email you on the basis of the consent you give us for doing so when you enter your email address and click “Sign up” to receive communications from us.
If you have supplied your email address to us in store, we will email you on the basis of the consent you give us for doing so when you enter your email address on our in-store form.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This is done by clicking the “unsubscribe” button contained within each newsletter or other communication(s).
Where we intend to use your email address for any purpose other than that set out above, we will provide you with any relevant information on such processing and seek further consent from you if we need to.
If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we may reserve your email address as part of a “suppression list” to ensure you do not receive further materials from us on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so.
Who else might receive your personal data
We may disclose your personal data to third parties:
- In the event that we offer to sell and/or sell our business or substantial part of it, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective or actual buyer of such business;
- If we or our business is acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be transferred to the buyer; and
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data (i) in order to comply with any of our legal obligations; (ii) in order to perform our agreement with you; or (iii) if it is in our legitimate interests to do so, including in order to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our customers, or others.
How long we will keep your personal data
Your email address will be retained on our active mailing list until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter by unsubscribing. Please note that we may need to reserve your email address as part of a “suppression list” (see above) after you have unsubscribed. We may contact you on a two-yearly basis to confirm you wish to continue receiving our newsletter.
What rights you have in relation to your personal data – “delete it, restrict it, correct it”
You can ask us:
- for access to the personal data we hold about you (see “Making a Subject Access Request” below);
- to delete personal data we hold about you under certain circumstances (for example, where it is no longer necessary for our purposes);
- to restrict our processing of your personal data under certain circumstances (for example, where you challenge the accuracy of the data we hold on you); and
- to correct any inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
You also have the right to object to any processing which we may carry out on the basis of our legitimate interests at any time.

Making a Subject Access Request
If you would like to request access to the personal data we hold about you, you must make a written request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org (with the subject line as “Data Subject Access Request”).
We will provide the first copy of your personal data for free, but may charge a reasonable fee for our administrative costs if you ask for any further copies. You can specify the format in which you would like to receive your personal data, and if you choose not to specify we will provide it to you in the same format as your request (for example, if the request is made by letter we will provide paper copies, and if the request is made by email we will provide copies in commonly used electronic formats).
Please note that we need to balance your rights against those of others, and there may be some information that contains a third party’s personal data, or which contains confidential data or other data which we are entitled to withhold by law. We are unable to send you such data. We will endeavour to comply with your request within one month of receipt and aim not to cause any undue delays.
Do you have to give us your data?
You are under no obligation to give us your data for marketing purposes, however if you choose not to do so you may miss out on certain news and offers relating to our business.
